A new web driving force for UNICEF

22 Jun. 2010

Propeople has released the new and improved UNICEF.dk targeting to enhance the online fundraising activity, to increase donor loyalty and to spread UNICEF's cause in Denmark.

The new UNICEF.dk is the web driving force to convey the UNICEF mission, emphasize the problems and gather support in order to provide emergency and long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries.

UNICEF.dk is a all-in-one web solution based on the highly customized Drupal content management system enriched with full DonorPerfect CRM integration, advanced Newsletter module, flexible content and blog publishing functions, extensive SQL full text search engine, user-responsive Campaign module to create, promote and raise funds for specific campaigns, as well as the Knowledge Universe Content Type module to interactively display UNICEF projects around the world.

We have chosen Propeople due to its outstanding experience in developing advanced web solutions for non-profit organizations. Moreover, Propeople won the bidding process against two other companies, and offered us a generous donation in form of discount. During the project, we experienced a very creative, exciting and challenging working process. The design and the technical solutions is top quality. We are very satisfied with the final result. Thomas Madsen, Business Development Manager, UNICEF Denmark

UNICEF is funded exclusively by voluntary contributions, thus the website was designed to serve as a proactive online fund-raising tool. The advanced donation system involves separate forms for one-time or monthly donations, generic or specific on-purpose contributions, as well as instant tax exemption forms for donors. The "Donate now" button may be placed anywhere on the site – news, articles, reports, galleries, videos – so the user can immediately contribute to each certain action in a matter of a click.

Ultimatively, UNICEF.dk has a new intuitive and appealing design focused on content and calling visitors for action – support UNICEF and help the childrenl around the world.
