Sporten.dk boosted with new functions

Berlingske Media challenged Propeople to improve their complex in-house CMS and to add new functions to the Sporten.dk, the largest sports website in Denmark.

Established in June 2008, sporten.dk combines the best sports journalism with advanced modern technical solutions. New features allows editors to provide instant live updates from local and international sport event, to efficiently manage the content and large in-site supporter communities. The reduced website's load time and maximized content accessibility significantly improves the overall user experience.

New technical features includes two main components: (1) full Enetpulse integration, a live sports data provider running live broadcasts from sports events, and (2) design and development of the new content types. New technical additions give editors full control over the content and the way it is displayed on the site and delivered to the user.

Now sporten.dk is fully equiped to be the ultimate web solution to cover all major sporting events for the hot summer of 2010: World Cup, Wimbledon, Tour de France, and US Open.

Sporten.dk is Berlingske Media's sports site. Berlingske Media is the largest newspaper publishing group in Denmark with 14 daily national and almost 50 local newspapers.
